6 - The Undead ( I was 15, rebellion years LOL)
7 - A Vampire ( at 17..what I loved the cape)
8 - A Soldier (at 21 I even had a real greanade and gun. Of course the grenade was hollow and the gun was missing the insides. No pin, no shooting)
9 - A Clown ( at 23 what can I say, ... I weird)
10 - A Gypsy (at 26 the skirt made me look sexy)
11- A cowgirl ( at 28, hello cowboys. Need I say more?)
12 - Invisible (At 30 hehehe that one was fun)
13 - A Mad Scientist ( At 34 Ok I admit it this one isn't a costume hehehe)

#10 and #11 - struck a chord. My m-i-l went as a gypsy every year because she had the clothes! So, I adopted that attitude and go as a cowgirl because I have the clothes too.
So was the turtle a ninja turtle costume?
When I was a kid, I didn't care much about the costume. It was all about the booty (candies!!!). hehehe!
I love seeing the kids every Halloween in their costumes.
This year at the adult parties I am going as my avatar, hee, hee... I love the costume.
Oh how I love dressing up! My little guy and I are going to be pirates this year! Lord knows there are enough costumes to choose from. :-D

I tend toward costumes that aren't really costumes, too. Punk Rock Girl. Hippie chick. You know how it is... easy. And a chance to quit being so bloody Stepford!!!
